   A: It was the place were  place were his hockey career started and he  thought he could find closure there.

   A: Yes. He is finally happy back at Manitouwadge and the Kellys will help him along the way.
7.  If Father Leboutilier have never come to the school, would Saul's life have turned out better or worse?
   A: Worse. The one great thing Father Leboutilier did was allow for Saul to leave the school. If he had stayed, even after he graduated, he would have no family to go to. At least he has the Kellys.

  1. I completely agree with your answer for your fifth question but after reading our novel's review I began to change my thinking. The author states that "Saul chronicles his life story as a means of identifying the source of his addiction." this got me thinking that his return to St. Jerome's might have been another one of Saul's attempts at identifying the source of his addiction.
